Solution structure of a europium–nicotianamine complex supports that phytosiderophores bind lanthanides

چکیده
The structures of europium–EDTA (known lanthanide chelator) and europium–nicotianamine (biochemical precursor phytosiderophores) complexes are resolved, in solution, with ab initio molecular dynamics as well excitation emission spectroscopy.

Antibodies that bind complex glycosaminoglycans accumulate in the Golgi.
Light (L) chains that edit anti-DNA heavy (H) chains rescue B-cell development by suppressing DNA binding. However, exceptional editor L chains allow B cells to reach splenic compartments even though their B-cell receptors remain autoreactive. Such incompletely edited B cells express multireactive antibodies that accumulate in the Golgi and are released as insoluble, amyloid-like immune complex...
متن کاملFunction suggests nano - structure : electrophysiology supports that granule membranes play
Cellular communication depends on membrane fusion mechanisms. SNARE proteins play a fundamental role in all intracellular fusion reactions associated with the life cycle of secretory vesicles, such as vesicle–vesicle and vesicle plasma membrane fusion at the porosome base in the cell plasma membrane. We present growth and elimination (G&E), a birth and death model for the investigation of granu...

Using an interdisciplinary research methodology across three archaeological and historical case studies, this article explores “family archives.” Four themes illustrate how objects held in family archives, curation practices, and intergenerational narratives reinforce a family’s sense of itself: people–object interactions, gender, socialization and identity formation, and the “life course.” The...

spontaneous rosettes with sheep erythrocytes (E), 10.6% cells having surface immunoglobulin (SIg), and 15.5% binding IgG as shown by rosette formation with IgG-coated ox red cells (E0A). Fractionation of the lymphocytes into populations rich in spontaneously E-rosetting cells and cells with SIg indicated that the majority of the lymphocytes forming E0'-IgE rosettes belonged to the SIg-positive ...
متن کاملAn ‘open’ structure of the RecOR complex supports ssDNA binding within the core of the complex
Efficient DNA repair is critical for cell survival and the maintenance of genome integrity. The homologous recombination pathway is responsible for the repair of DNA double-strand breaks within cells. Initiation of this pathway in bacteria can be carried out by either the RecBCD or the RecFOR proteins. An important regulatory player within the RecFOR pathway is the RecOR complex that facilitate...
